Suranjana Lahiri

Suranjana Lahiri was born in 1982 in Kolkata, India. Bachelor in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavana,Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal and Masters in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavana University, Santiniketan, West Bengal.

 

She participated in group exhibitions in major cities in India, Japan, London and Missouri, USA.

She wrote her thesis on the Metamorphoses of Print Making from 19th C onward.

 

Performed in ‘Einstein and Rabindranath’ at Kala Bhavana University, Santiniketan, West Bengal.

Her present series of works could be a reflection of her love for performance and involvement in Indian way of life and thought.
