Rudra Dev Sen

Rudra Dev Sen was born in 1974 West Bengal, India.

He’s Bachelor in Fine Arts was from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal and Masters in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavana University, Santiniketan, West Bengal.

Rudra was student of Jogan Chowdury and well-schooled in the style of West Bengal art tradition, especially as seen in his rendering in classical ink drawing.

Rudra’s fluidity in drawing flora and fauna and female figures is typical West Bengal classical style.

In his Mughal miniature works Rudra puts the female figure in a royal setting with beautiful wallpapers, carpets, embroidered clothes, flower vases and all the other items that beautify the ambience and make the presence of a female figure more regal.
