Yuriko Lochan was born in 1962, Kyoto, Japan. She obtained her B.F.A. in 1985 and M.F.A. in 1987 from University of Arts, Kyoto, Japan.
She has been living in Delhi since her marriage to the director of National Museum of Modern Art, Rajeev Lochan.
Yuriko’s works focus on the blend of Indian tradition and modernity.
