Jeremy Sharma's Variation and the Monochromatic series 2011

In 2011, Jeremy started on his VARIATION series. He experimented with durational works involving memory and tones. He worked on a painting everyday, recalling a certain colour the day before, and finally putting the paintings together in sets of 4 and 9.

In his GREY PAINTINGS and GAUSSIAN PAINTINGS, Jeremy took the reductive excercise up a notch when he removed all traces of gestures and expressions.
