Ceramics by Oh Chai Hoo and Chua Chon Hee

Oh Chai Hoo was born in 1960 in Singapore, graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. Due to his curious nature, he tried his hand in all sorts of media. Whether two or three dimension works such as paintings, ceramics and wood carving, these have all become part of his creative practice.

 

Chua Chon Hee was born in 1960 in Singapore, and also graduated with Advanced Diploma, Western Art, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. She is a multidisciplinary local artist, who works extensively with ceramic, ink, and printmaking. In the production of ceramics, Chon Hee tried various techniques and blended various glaze colours to be fired onto shapes of daily utensils.
