ABDI
SETIWAWAN
Born 1971 in Sicincin, West Sumatra. He is a graduate of ISI / Indonesian Institute
of the Arts, Yogyakarta (1993-2003). In 2004 he had a solo exhibiton in Yogyakarta
at the France-Indonesia Institute, and has participated in group exhibitions
in Yogyakarta since 2003.
BAGONG
KUSSUDIARDJA
Born
1928 in Yogyakarta, Central Java; died 2005. Studied painting at ASRI / Indonesian
Academy of Fine Arts, Yogyakarta under such artists as Sudiarjo, Hendra Gunawan
and Kusnadi. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. He has
received several awards for his work, among them the Gold Medal from Pope Paul
VI in 1973; Satya Lencana Dwija Setia in 1975; the Gold Medal from the Government
of Bangladesh in 1981; Art Award from the Indonesian Government in 1985; ASEAN
Award in 1987; Art Award from the Government of Yogyakarta in 1988; Award from
the Minister of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications in 1992; and Yogyakarta Painting
Biennial Awards in 1988 and 1992. Bagong is also a dancer and choreographer. In
1998 he established an Arts Training Centre in Bantul, Yogyakarta.
BUDI
Born
Yogyakarta, 1968. Studied at SMSR / Fine Arts High School, Yogyakarta. In 2000
he was one of the Top Ten prize winners in the Indonesian Art Awards competition.
He had a solo exhibition in Semarang in 2002, and has participated in group
exhibitions in Indonesia, Singapore and Russia.
DO
SON
Do Son was born in 1943 in Bac Ninh Province. He joined
the army in 1965 and worked as an artist of the Liberation Army Magazine in 1968-70
and later for the Daily Quan Doi Nhan Dan 1970-73. Son graduated from the Hanoi
Fine Arts College in 1978. His style is colourful, with subject matters clearly
related to daily life in Vietnam. Son has participated in numerous exhibitions
in Vietnam and also in Laos (1997), and the U.S.A. (1997). His paintings have
been collected by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum and the Singapore Art Museum.
NARENDRA
PAL SINGH
Born 1963 in Konandpur, Bihar.
He is a graduate in Fine Arts, College of Arts and Crafts, Patna. He has had
over 7 solo exhibitions in India since 1989, and has also participated in numerous
group shows.

Born
1939 in the Philippines. She grew up in the Ilocos region of Northern Luzon.
She is married to the artist Angelito Antonio.
TEGUH
OSTENRIK
Born
1950 in Jakarta, Indonesia. His studies include Graphic Design, Fine Art and
Drawing at various art institutions in Germany (1974-1981). He returned to Indonesia
in 1988 where he opened C-Line Gallery, Jakarta (1989-1994) and Galeri Teguh,
Jakarta from 1995 to the present.
