From 1980-1994 he was the Principal and Director of Academic Affairs for Hong Kong Chingying Institute of Visual Arts. He is currently Honorary Adviser of Hong Kong Museum of Art, and Director of Hong Kong Chingying Institute of Visual Arts.

Born in Bali in 1977, I Made Aswino Aji is currently studying at ISI / Indonesian Institute of the Arts), Yogyakarta, Indonesia for his Diploma of Fine Arts, Painting (1996- present). From 2002-2005 he was the Director of the Ruang per Ruang Project. He has had two solo exhibitions in Yogyakarta and has participated in group exhibitions in Singapore, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Solo, Magelang, Malang and Bali since 1995.
