Born 1964 in Singapore, he studied industrial design at Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts and obtained Master of Design (Industrial Design) by Research at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia in 1998. In 1988 he won the Top Award in the United Overseas Bank Painting of the Year Award in Singapore. He has had several solo exhibitions since 1988 as well as participating in numerous group exhibitions in Singapore since 1985.
