THAVORN
KO-UDOMVIT
Born
1956 in Bangkok, Thailand. Born into an urban Sino-Thai merchant family, Thavorn
studied at Silpakorn University, Bangkok and also spent a year in New York and
Baltimore. While he has worked in a variety of media, his subject matter has
almost always been his search for his Chinese identity within the context of
Thai culture. Has taught at Silpakorn University, Bangkok; Chulalongkorn University,
Bangkok; Nagoya University of Fine Arts, Japan; Bangkok University, Bangkok.
