chua ek kay

Born 1947 in Chenghai, Guandong, China; migrated to Singapore in 1953. Studied Chinese ink painting with Fan Chang Tien; Advanced Diploma, LaSalle College of the Arts, Singapore; BFA, University of Tasmania, Australia; MA (Honours) Visual Arts, University of Western Sydney, Australia. He had solo exhibitions in Singapore, Shanghai and Sydney. He died in Singapore in 2008.
